LISA (Localization Industry Standards Association) QA is the quality assurance mechanism used by Spear’s editors to collect feedbacks and measure the quality of translations. It also gives us an objective view to check the performance of our vendors.
Within the LISA QA mechanism, criteria are listed out and errors are categorised as Minor, Major and Critical and each of them weights different scores. Scores are then added together to check if the overall quality of a translation passed.
By adopting this mechanism, Spear is able to keep on improving its service quality along with keep checking the performance of vendors.
